How long does ice last in an Icey-Tek cool box?

Icey-Tek cool boxes can keep contents cold for up to 10 days and frozen for up to 2 days, depending on ambient temperature, ice type, and how often the lid is opened. For best results, pre-chill the box, use block ice or large gel packs, and keep it out of direct sunlight.

How much ice or how many gel packs do I need?

We recommend filling roughly one third of the box with loose ice, or using 4–6 large Icey-Tek gel packs. For maximum ice retention, pre-freeze your gel packs and pre-chill the box before loading. Avoid air gaps — a full box stays cold longer.

How do I clean my Icey-Tek cool box?

The food-grade internal liner is non-staining and non-odour absorbing, making cleaning straightforward. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth is all you need for routine cleaning. For stubborn odours, a diluted bicarbonate of soda solution works well. Leave the lid open to air dry fully before storing.

Can I sit on my Icey-Tek cool box?
